HP ENVY 8000 series 

 

print orders going through on mobile but flashes a message that printer needs to optimize before it can print. When you authorize that, no action at the printer end although the transmission is completed on the mobile. 

any idea how to fix this?

Restart the Printer and Mobile Device:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Restart your mobile device.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Ensure your printer firmware is up to date. Navigate to your printer's menu and look for firmware updates.

Reinstall HP Smart App:

  • Uninstall the HP Smart App from your mobile device.
  • Reinstall the app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  • Reconnect to your printer.

Network Connection:

  • Make sure your printer is connected to the same network as your mobile device.
  • Reset the network settings on the printer and reconnect to Wi-Fi.

Print Queue and Optimization Settings:

  • Cancel any pending print jobs.
  • Check the printer settings related to optimization and ensure it is set to print without unnecessary delays.
