I am having the same issue. I've had my HP Envy 4500 for 2 years, was midway through a scanning task and it dropped the connection. I cannot get it to recconect to my wifi after following virtually every troubleshooting task HP employess have cited on this thread. All of my other devices are connected, my wifi is working perfectly - it's only the printer that is not co-operating.

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting wireless connectivity issue on your printer.
- Which operating is installed on the computer to which this printer is connected?
Meanwhile:
Perform power reset on the printer.
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector and printer.
- Turn on the printer.
Update the printer firmware
Refer this HP document for the steps to update the printer firmware:- Click here
Let me know how it goes.
