I am able to select "pages" and type the page range that I want to print.  The print job shows up in the print queue, which shows that the printer is connected, but then it never prints.  Other print jobs work just fine.  I have a MacBook Pro and am printing either Word documents or pdfs from Acrobat Pro DC.

And I already downloaded HP Smart and ran Diagnose & Fix - it did not show any problems.

Hi @AllisonBC,

I'd like to help!

I understand you are unable to print from Acrobat Pro DC.

Try the below suggestions-

To update the printer's firmware, refer - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

To update Mac, try these steps - How to update the software on your Mac

Print the PDF as an image

You can print a PDF file as an image.

NOTE:

Printing a PDF file as an image can result in blurry images or fonts, especially along the edges of the print.

  1. Open the original PDF file.

  2. Click File, and then select Print from the list.

    The Print window opens.

  3. Click Advanced.

The Advanced Print Setup window opens.

  4. Click the Print As Image checkbox, change any other settings as desired, and then click OK.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
