HP Recommended

I have an ENVY 5020 which when asked to print, the printer screen says it's printing but it never does. Also the printer will not cancel the print. The printer will also not shutdown, tried to shut it down yesterday and it's still trying today. Went to online support which suggested unplugging the printer then after 30 secs start it up. Select firmware and update drivers, tried this there are no updates for the printer.
