Product: HP DeskJet 3630 All-in-One Printer

For reasons unknown, my printer will not print text. Despite print preview looking right, I only get gridlines from tables. This happens with documents whatever their file format. Documents that once printed flawlessly now print with this fault.

In an effort to resolve this problem, I have updated printer driver, printer firmware and MackBook Air operating system (now Ventura 13.5). Any suggestions most welcome.

Printing from which program? LIkely a setting in whatever program generated the tables.

Thanks Repairtrooper.
First noticed problem in Pages program. Then in Numbers. The printer will not print text from its own diagnostic files. I have imported files to pdf and Word. Files with text only print blank, files with tables and text print gridlines only.
