My printer is installed correctly. It won't print an entire email such as the body (my messages and script), but it will print the surrounding area's, pictures, etc. I recently tried Cartridge World cartridges instead of the authentic HP cartridges, but am not sure if that would have anything to do with it. Also it only prints blank pages when I try to print a document in Wordpad.

Thanks! It looks like the printer is not printing black. We might be able to resolve the issue by power resetting the printer and then performing an automated/manual cleaning. Here is how to do it:

Please ensure the printer is up-to-date with its firmware. If you are unsure, you can download and install the latest firmware update from here.

1) Make sure this printer is plugged into a direct wall, not a surge protector

2) Remove all of your ink cartridges from the printer and close the door

3) Remove the power cord from the back of the printer (Do no press the power button)

4) Clean the ink cartridges, refer to solution 3 from this document.

5) Plug the power cord back into the printer

6) Wait for the printer to turn on completely, then install the ink cartridges.

7) On the printer control panel, swipe the display to scroll to Setup, and then touch the Setup icon .

The Setup menu displays.

😎 Swipe the display to scroll to Printer Maintenance, and then touch Printer Maintenance.

9) Touch Clean Page Smears.

10) On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

11) Swipe the display up, and then touch Printer Maintenance.

12) Touch Clean Cartridges. Touch Proceed when prompted to continue the next level of cleaning. Repeat these steps for the third cleaning stage

Let me know how it goes!

Hi @Tommi06_j-6,

A warm welcome to HP Community! I'd like to help.

Could you print a print quality test page and let me know if the printer prints the whole page. In order to print the page:

1.) On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

The Setup menu displays.

2.) Touch Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report.

I printed the page as suggested and it doesn't look complete. It shows 4 boxes, 3 with color shades of yellowish, pinkish, and bluish ( I think, I'm color blind) and 1 box clear ( no color). To the right of those boxes are some lines which I can barely see. Thank you.
