On HP Envy 4500 , the error message "Ink cartridge Problems: The following ink cartridge must be replaced"....and showing a black oval only, not the color, continues even though I have purchased two cartridges to try, thinking the first may have been faulty. I also replaced the color cartridge but get no error message on it. IPrinter will not let me go back to "home" or do anything. Steps taken so far, looking at several other tips posted, cleaning the connections, unplugging/disconnecting everything and reboothing both computer and printer, checking the wireless connection. I worked fine until the cartridge ran out and I got a new one. Any ideas? Do I need to get a new printer?

thank you and a thumbs up; unfortunately when I hit the thumbs up it took me to a link, but no thumbs up was counted; also there are no buttons at the end to click accept as solution. Thanks for getting back to me.
