Hi @ChrisWB ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP DeskJet 2810e All-in-One Printer only prints the first page and stops, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
- Check Printer Queue: Sometimes the print job might be stuck in the queue. Open the print queue on your computer and make sure there are no pending or stuck jobs. Clear any stuck jobs and try printing again.
- Update Printer Drivers: Ensure you have the latest printer drivers installed. Go to the HP website or use the HP Smart app to check for and install any updates for your printer.
- Check Print Settings: Make sure there are no settings in the print dialogue that might be causing only the first page to print. Verify that you are not set to print only the first page of a multi-page document.
- Inspect for Paper Jams: Check the printer for any paper jams or obstructions that might be causing it to stop after the first page. Clear any paper jams you find.
- Print a Test Page: Try printing a test page from the printer's control panel or through the printer properties on your computer to see if the issue persists with a simple print job.
- Restart Printer and Computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve issues. Turn off both your printer and computer, wait a few moments, and then turn them back on.
- Check for Firmware Updates: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Firmware updates can resolve bugs and improve printer performance. Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Reset Printer: As a last resort, you can try resetting the printer to its factory settings. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
