Unfortunately, there is no "new magic" for this older printer.
Common issues that result in jammed business card paper can include (and might not be limited to):
- Dirty printer - Printing paper that is too heavy (beyond the specifications) requires the printer be clean and sparkly - any dirt on the pickup rollers or anywhere along the paper travel path can cause trouble.
- Worn out gears and mechanics - there is no fix for this. There is a toll for long service.
- Paper is too thick -- Note >> This paper has always been too heavy - the printer never supported "business card" weight paper. What? Most of the better quality OfficeJet Pro printers can handle at least the mid-weight business card paper when the printer is new -- none of the printers actually support paper in this weight class.
- Paper is too dry, too damp, curled, or otherwise not suitable - Yes, this can be a "thing". Try different paper.
- Printer is not aware of the Paper Size / Type - Tray and Paper
