Printer won't load up all the way

Hi, 

I have seen someone ask before about their printer turning on, but not loading all the way up and getting stuck on the the loading screen with two dots, I have the same issue. 

I have unplugged and restarted the printer already with and without the ink, as per the guidelines on the website and it just does the same thing every time. 

I have the Hp ENVY 5020 and it was working perfectly fine before it started doing this.

Apparently its a hardware issue and they have suggested I buy a new printer and can get 20% cash back on my next HP printer with a voucher. 

I find this ridiculous as the printer was only purchased in Aug 2019 and is now completely worthless and unusable. What a waste of the planets resources; it cannot be recycled, only lasts a year and their advice is to buy a new one if something goes wrong... makes no sense. 

I won't be using their voucher and see no point in investing in another HP product if this is the result. 

What a waste of money and materials, shameful.

I wanted to add what was actually said:

'I see that printer Hardware is faulty. Since your HP Unit if now out of warranty and is beyond economical repair, instead of paying for it to get repaired, I request you buy a new HP unit and as a goodwill gesture HP will provide you cash back.'
