I have a new HP Envy Photo 7858 printer. I am replacing the original cartridge with the 64XL which is listed as an approved cartridge :
I took out the empty HP 64 and replaced it with the HP 64XL, but keep getting a message it's not an approved HP cartridge. I have tried 2 new HP 64XL and get the same result. How can I override this error message?

As I understand, your printer does not accept XL Ink cartridge,
No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:
Did you replace both color and black ink cartridge on your printer?
Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?
Have you moved to a different country?
Have you tried updating the firmware? If not, please follow steps from the link to update the firmware: https://hp.care/2rHKwDD
While you respond to that, let's try these steps from the link: https://hp.care/2HEnjht.
Step 1: Make sure the ink cartridges are compatible
Step 2: Make sure the ink cartridges are correctly installed
Step 3: Clean the electrical contacts
Step 4: Reset the printer
Step 5: Clean the ink cartridge contacts again
Step 6: Replace the ink cartridge
If the issue still persists, please perform a Reset:
