Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I understand that you have an HP OfficeJet 4650 All-in-One Printer. I read that you initiated the wireless setup wizard on your printer and it does not find the wifi network. Your phone and computer are well connected to the wifi router.
I did some research on this case and found that HP printer wirelessly only via a 2.4 GHz network so please ensure that the wireless signal transmitted is 2.4GHz.
PLease perform the following firmware updates on the printer based on the operating system you're using:
- For Windows: http://hp.care/2s81DQ4
- For Mac OS 10.11 and lower: http://hp.care/2uYSq0f
Once the firmware is updated, please run the wireless setup wizard again. If the printer still does not find the wireless network then I suggest to reset the printer. This will completely restore the printer to its original factory settings. have sent you a private message with the steps to reset the printer.
