When first turned on, the printer quickly flashes a message saying "network connection unavailable' but also claim to be online and ready according to my computer. When trying to print a document, the first error I had received just simply read "error printing document." After running a utility to fix the problem, I no longer get that error. Instead, the printer works as if it will start printing but doesn't. A window flashes and disappears on screen too quickly for me to read. This is a brand new printer. I have tried everything from reinstalling it to unplugging it to reconnecting it to restarting my router. Nothing is working.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP All-in-One - 24-g227c (running Windows 11) is experiencing a network communication issue where it appears "online" but fails to print. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Step 1: Reset the Print Spooler
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Scroll down to find Print Spooler.
- Right-click and select Restart.
- Try printing again.
Step 2: Set Printer as Default
- Open Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Click your HP printer and select Manage.
- Click Set as default.
- Try printing again.
Step 3: Check Print Queue
- Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your printer and select See what's printing.
- If there are stuck print jobs, click Printer > Cancel All Documents.
- Try printing again.
Step 4: Run HP Print and Scan Doctor HP Print and Scan Doctor
Since you've already tried an HP utility, ensure you've used HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download it from HP: HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Run it and follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 5: Assign a Static IP Address to Your Printer
If the printer momentarily shows "Network Connection Unavailable", it might be due to an unstable dynamic IP. To fix this:
- Open the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS):
- Find the printer's IP address (on the printer screen under Network Settings).
- Type that IP into your web browser.
- Navigate to Network Settings > Wireless or Wired (depending on your connection).
- Assign a manual/static IP and save the settings.
Step 6: Remove and Reinstall the Printer Completely
- Uninstall the printer:
- Open Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your HP printer and click Remove device.
- Delete HP drivers:
- Open Control Panel > Programs and Features.
- Uninstall any HP printer software.
- Open Device Manager, expand Print queues, right-click the HP printer, and select Uninstall device.
- Restart your computer.
- Reinstall the latest drivers from HP's website.
- Add the printer again via Printers & Scanners.
Step 7: Try a USB Connection
If WiFi is unstable, connect the printer via USB to see if it prints. If it works, the issue is network-related.

I hope this helps.

Hi @WriterReader,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e and you've already tried reinstalling, reconnecting, and restarting everything, let's go through some additional troubleshooting steps:
Step 1: Check Printer Status
- Open Control Panel → Devices and Printers.
- Locate your HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e and check its status.
- If the printer is paused or offline, right-click it and select Set as Default Printer and Use Printer Online.
Step 2: Restart the Print Spooler
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click, and select Restart.
- Try printing again.
Step 3: Check Windows Security / Firewall
- Open Windows Security.
- Click Firewall & Network Protection.
- Select Allow an app through firewall, then look for HP Smart, HP Printer Assistant, and HP Network Services.
- Make sure they are allowed for both Private and Public networks.
Step 4: Run HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download HP Print and Scan Doctor from HP’s website.
- Run the tool and follow any suggested fixes.
Step 5: Try Printing from a Different Program
- If you're printing from Word, try printing from Notepad.
- If that works, reinstall the original software causing the issue.
Step 6: Check for Stuck Print Jobs
- Go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers.
- Right-click the printer and select See What’s Printing.
- If there are stuck print jobs, clear them.
Step 7: Reinstall the Printer (Full Removal)
- Open Control Panel → Programs & Features.
- Uninstall HP Smart, HP Printer Software, and HP Drivers.
- Go to Device Manager, find Print queues, and uninstall any HP drivers.
- Restart your computer.
- Download and install the latest drivers from HP’s website.
If none of these steps work, does the printer print a test page from its control panel? If it does, the issue is likely software-related. Let me know what you find!
