Hi @macc71,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Power Connection:

  • Ensure that the power cord is securely connected to both the printer and the power outlet.
  • Try plugging the printer into a different wall outlet to rule out issues with the power source.

Inspect the Power Cord:

  • Check the power cord for any visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it might need to be replaced.

Reset the Printer:

  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds before reconnecting the power cord to ensure a proper reset.
  • Turn the printer on by pressing the power button.

Verify Printer Power Button Functionality:

  • Ensure that the power button is not jammed or stuck. Gently press it to see if the printer responds.

Check for LED Indicator Lights:

  • If any LEDs or display panels show signs of life, that might help in diagnosing the issue further. If all lights remain off, it is likely a power issue.

Environmental Factors:

  • Ensure the printer is not located in a very hot or cold environment, which could affect its ability to power on.

I hope this helps.
