Hi @Perfect22,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The printhead error on the OfficeJet Pro 6978 with error code Oxc19a0015 typically indicates an issue with the printhead or ink system. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and fix the issue.
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Open the ink cartridge access door and remove the printhead and ink cartridges.
- Clean the contacts on the printhead and ink cartridges with a lint-free cloth moistened with distilled water.
- Reinstall the printhead and ink cartridges, making sure they are properly seated and locked into place.
- Plug in the printer and turn it on. Wait for the printer to initialize and print a test page.
- If the error persists, try resetting the printer to its factory settings. To do this, go to the printer's control panel and select "Setup" > "Printer Maintenance" > "Restore Defaults."
- If the error still persists, it may be necessary to replace the printhead. You can order a new printhead from HP's website.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
