Hi @Melissa827,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The printhead error 62.80.A0 on the HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e can be a bit tricky to resolve, especially if it started after a paper jam. Here are some steps you can try to fix this issue.
Power Reset:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Check for Paper Fragments:
- Open the printer and carefully inspect it for any small pieces of paper or debris that might still be stuck in the printhead path.
- Ensure all paper fragments are removed.
Printhead Cleaning and Reinstallation:
- Open the printer and access the printhead.
- Carefully remove the printhead and cartridges.
- Clean the printhead contacts with a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water.
- Reinstall the printhead and cartridges securely.
Firmware Update:
- Ensure your printer firmware is up to date. Sometimes firmware updates can resolve such errors.
- You can check for updates via the HP Smart app or the HP website.
Printer Diagnostic Tool:
- HP provides diagnostic tools that can help identify and sometimes fix issues.
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool from the HP support website.
Factory Reset:
- Perform a factory reset on your printer to clear any lingering errors.
- This can usually be done from the printer's control panel. Go to the settings menu and look for an option to restore factory settings.
Try these steps in sequence to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the printhead error.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
