Printhead Problem

I noticed that this question was presented already but attached to a different model.  Hoping that the outcome was not the same.  I, too, received an error message saying that "the Printhead appears to be mission, not detected, or incorrectly installed."  I followed all of the steps with the virtual help page...to no avail.    Am I also fated to having to purchase a new printer

I understand you are getting this error on the printer screen. If you have already performed the steps from the document Printhead error

:https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100778 and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
