My well-used Officejet Pro 8620 stopped printing, giving me error code 0xc19a0045, The printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed. It presented two "Solutions" - Solution 1: Reinstall the printheads. Touch Show Me to be guided through printhead installation. Solution 2: Contact HP support.
"Show Me" would not show itself. I went to HP support, found manual directions for reinstalling printhead, tried that twice. No joy. I noticed that black ink was dripping from printhead (glad to find it easily washable). I considered revisiting manual to find out how to clean printhead, but decided to follow support site suggestion to contact support community first.
