HP ENVY 6455e All-in-One Printer

Every time I send job to printer it says printing then comes back with ERROR. 

No details / no error numbers and when I open app there is nothing there about the error- I am printing jobs from Microsoft Power Point/Word/Excel when this happens the most often. PLEASE HELP - This has happened from the beginning and my printer is still like new because I haven't been able to use it!

I'm sorry to hear about the issues with your HP ENVY 6455e printer. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the printing error.

 

Check Printer Status

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your network (if using Wi-Fi) or directly to your computer (if using USB).
  • Confirm that the printer has paper and ink/toner and that there are no paper jams.

Restart Devices

  • Restart your printer.
  • Restart your computer or device you are printing from.
  • Sometimes a simple restart can resolve communication issues.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Go to the HP Support website and search for your printer model.
  • Download and install the latest firmware update for your HP ENVY 6455e.

Check Printer Settings

  • Open the HP Smart app or HP Print and Scan Doctor (if installed) and check for any error messages or issues.
  • Make sure that the printer is set as the default printer in your operating system’s printer settings.

Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Uninstall the current printer drivers from your computer.
  • Download the latest drivers from the HP Support website.
  • Reinstall the drivers and set up the printer again.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor
