Hi
I can't print a test page perfectly with all colours showing.
I print an alignment page after instlaling genuine HP cartridges and there is notg clean print outs,
Obviously scanning this leads to the printing colours being incorrect.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for posting your query in the HP support forums and a good day to you. I will be glad to assist you and let’s get right to it. Great description of the issue. It is amply appreciated.
I will be providing a roadmap with some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue. Let us try these steps:
- Did this happen after a power outage or surge?
- Did you replace ink cartridges and check again?
- Please perform a hard reset on the printer from this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-5200-all-in-one-printer-series/14095737/model/1409... and follow instructions from the section “Step 1: Reset the printer”
- Then update the printer’s firmware by following instructions from this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16
- Use a USB cable to update the printer’s firmware.
Then from this link:https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-2620-all-in-one-printer-series/5357283/model/53852... (Fixing Print Quality Problems for the HP Officejet 2620 All-in-One and Deskjet Ink Advantage 2640 Printer Series) perform all the relevant steps.
Solution one: Use genuine HP cartridges to Solution seven: Replace the problem cartridge
.
Evaluate and diagnose the print quality report and identify the faulty ink cartridge. Replacing it should fix the issue as long as the printer's hardware is not faulty. DOn't buy any cartridges to replace faulty ones yet. If the issue continues, then the printer needs to be replaced. I am being honest about it here, by keeping your best interest in mind.
If the issue continues, then I will send you a private message to assist you with the next course of action. Check your forum private message box in the upper right corner next to the bell icon.
Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead. 🙂

At this point i had found the solution...
Bought new black ink catridge, the default original black ink given along when i purchased the printer is the one faulty... Seems like not fair at all...

I reviewed the quick response. I understand where you come from. Sometimes these things happen. I hope the replaced one works great and stays healthy for a long time.
It has been a genuine pleasure to work with you.
Take care and have a fabulous week ahead.
