I wish to do two things.  First print a negative from a positive scan.  Second, I wish to print this negative on a sheet of clear transparency film.  It was not obvious from the printer properties associated with this printer that this is a task it can perform.  Thank you for your reply.

No, unfortunately, this is a Printer and cannot scan negatives (in or out).

 

If there are any film / image processing plants around anymore, you can likely have something like this done.

Try a camera store to ask the question, for example.

 

There might be "something" on the 'net that does something like this - but, no - the printer and the printer software do not handle negatives.
