Hi @carolineh1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're experiencing an issue with your printer where only blank pages are being printed, even though the ink levels are fine. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

  • Check Ink Cartridges: Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and not expired. Even if the ink levels appear fine, expired cartridges may not provide good print quality.
  • Print a Test Page: Most printers have a built-in test page option. Try printing a test page from the printer's control panel. This can help you determine if the issue is with the printer itself or with the computer.
  • Clean Print Heads: Over time, print heads can get clogged with dried ink. Many printers have a utility for cleaning print heads. Refer to your printer's manual on how to access and use this feature.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Visit the printer HP website to download and install the latest drivers.
  • Use Genuine Ink Cartridges: If you're using third-party or refilled cartridges, consider using genuine cartridges recommended HP. Some printers may not work well with non-genuine cartridges.
  • Check Paper Quality: Make sure you are using the correct type and quality of paper recommended by the printer manufacturer. Using incompatible paper may result in printing issues.
  • Inspect for Jammed Paper: Check for any jammed paper inside the printer. Even a small piece of paper stuck in the printer can cause printing problems.
  • Reset the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes resolve minor glitches.
  • Update Firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer. Updating the firmware can address software-related issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
