Hello Helpful community member or HP employee,
I use the HP ENVY 7200 AiO printer since december 2022 or so. It worked fine during the past until some days ago notification: Printer Off Line.
Looking to the network the printer turned out to be on line because I could find it by giving in its IP-address in my internetbrowser.
I applied the HP Scan and Print Dr (newest version). It took rather much time communicating with the printer, but the search for errors started. The progress screen showed a pause at the Port-investigation (ïn dutch "PoortOvereenkomst" as in the picture I uploaded here). Moreover the message "Verkeerde Printerpoort geconfigureerd" or in english I suppose something like: "Wrong printerport configured". Thus not wrong configuration but wrong port. After a while the problem has been solved as the message "Some problems were found with your product. These problems are solved". It is on my 2nd uploaded image.
I also used the problemdiagnoser from the HP-smart program by clicking the tool (nut wrench) in the left lower corner of the startscreen. This also worked.
However after each of these measures print commands were refused from time to time. Annoying and time consuming!😥
I looked for the portconfiguration in the printerproperties (as my 3rd uploaded image) but I did not know how to deal with it. WSD-port.... wrong port? Or configuration parameters wrong? Or both?
I should be very pleased to here the possible cause and solution for this problem. Thanks in advance!

Hi @Hommel,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing issues with your HP Envy Photo Printer wherein it is not recognized on the network.
Please follow the steps listed below to restore the printer to its network defaults and then reconnect it to the network.
Step 1: Restore the printer to its network defaults.
1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch Setup.
2. Touch Network Setup.
3. Touch Restore Network Settings. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored.
4. Touch Yes.
Step 2: Reconnect the Printer to the network:
1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch Wireless.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch Wireless Settings.
4. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard or Wi-Fi Protected Setup. 5. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.
You may also refer to page 76 and 17 for step 1 and step 2 from this this User Guide.

Hello Rainbow 23,
Many Thanks for your clear information to solve my printerproblem. I followed your instructions precisely. A new trial to print had success. Printing immediatly after that a 2nd and even a 3rd printing command worked OK.🙂 But unfortunately the problem returned at printingcommands some time later. 🤔New adjustments conform your instructions OK, printing worked again. The next day it did not and I had to tackle the refusement by the Pr and sC dR (same message: "Incorrect Port configured" and printing worked again after a short while later). Also the same working of the nut wrench of HP Smart.
What further suggestions could you do to me to overcome this definitely?
