DeskJet2710e all in one printer - when printing from my laptop, the printing cuts off the end of the page. I have uninstalled the hp app and reinstalled and I have unplugged cartridges etc as hp support say to. Printing still cuts off. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
This printer requires a larger margin along the bottom edge.
Ideas
Use Software that fits the content as needed on the paper you are using.
Use options to Shrink the content to the paper / printable area (Shrink / Fit / Shrink to Fit / or similar).
Print Margin Bottom (A4) | 12.7 mm |
Print Margin Left (A4) | 3 mm |
Print Margin Right (A4) | 3 mm |
Print Margin Top (A4) | 3 mm |

Hi, I have already chosen the option to shrink to page/printable area etc and none of them work it still cuts off the end of the page when it comes out of the printer. It does not allow me to change the margins to 3mm.

For example, if I am printing a landscape page on word document, when it prints, the right hand side would be cut off. But when I download a landscape page, it’s the left side that is cut off, and if I print a portrait page the bottom of the page cuts off. It is not a massive amount but I have changed the margins to lots of different things and it still cuts off. I didn’t have this problem before with previous printers

True, the margins cannot be adjusted to 3mm on all sides -- the bottom margin requirement prevents doing so.
True, rotating the page simply moves the required larger margin to the side.
True, too, the larger margin on one side is an oddity of the DeskJet printer series.
For a Word document,
If you have not done so,
Set the margins to "Narrow" -- 1/2 inch on all sides (1.27cm / 12.7mm).
I am not sure that anything I can offer will help - I have multiple examples of how I believe this should work but I do not have a DeskJet printer to test what you are seeing.
General Example - Word Document - 3x5 card - Landscape
Word_Test_3X5_card_Portrait_2
Word Document > File > Export > PDF > Print
I cannot provide an explanation for why this would not work when selecting the Shrink option.
Example - Adobe Reader DC - PDF Print
