I purchased an Officejet pro 8035e because the description advertised that it prints documents (pdf, doc, etc) from a flash drive.  I have set up the printer and when I insert the flash drive I only have the option to print picture files or to scan items to my flash drive.  Am I missing something? Have I wasted my money??? Please advise.

Looks like it only supports image (photo) files. Review from PC Magazine only says

 

"Very much on the plus side, front-panel touch-screen controls let you use the HP for standalone copying and faxing, printing photos from a USB memory key, and scanning directly to a thumb drive or a computer on your network."

Where did you get the information ? I could not find that information on its specs
