Printing in colour

Hi i've been trying to print in colour since I bought this printer for over a week. I've read the forums about turning off gray scale, but that option is only there on eprint which  i've even tried to print  with but it always gives me an error and won't connect. I've downloaded the hp print and scan doctor and it just doesn't help. 

any help or advice will be appreciated I really like this printer but only being able to print in black and white isn't helpful.

Please go to Printers and Drivers (Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers)

Select the printer right click and go to Printer Preferences

Under Printing Preferences select Paper/Quality

Please search for Print in gray scale  (Option would be on/Off select Off )
