I recently started getting a message "cleaning cycle" after printing two pages and then I get misprint message after which I have to push ok to continue.  When I push ok, it prints another two pages including the last page just printed and starts the cycle over again.  Any suggestions for how to fix this problem?

Usually this error is triggered by a worn pickup roller that results in the printer rotating the pickup roller several times to pickup a sheet which throws off the timing. Remove the paper tray and check the roller at the back of the cavity. It is hard to see as it faces back but should be able to get an idea of the condition. Replace as required.

I took at look at the roller but not sure what to look for to tell if it is worn.  Thanks in advance for your input.

Roller on the left is worn, roller on the right is new. There should be fingerprint like ridges on the roller.

Thanks very much for sending these pictures.  I checked my printer and the roller looked like the "good unit" picture.  Do you have any other suggestions for what may be going on in my printer?  Again, thanks for your input.
