Please I need help with this printer HP laserjet Pro CM1415fn MFP not printing yellow and Magenta color but other colors are printing very well please what should I do. Some one please should help me🙏

I understand how frustrating it is when your HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fn MFP stops printing yellow and magenta, especially when other colors work fine. Let’s walk through the most effective steps to fix this.

1. Rock the Toner Cartridges

Sometimes toner settles unevenly, especially if the printer hasn’t been used in a while.

  • Open the front door and pull out the toner drawer.
  • Remove the yellow and magenta cartridges.
  • Gently rock each cartridge side to side to redistribute the toner.
  • Reinsert them into their correct slots (match the color-coded icons).
  • Close the drawer and front door, then try printing again.


2. Check for Toner Level and Cartridge Damage

  • Make sure the yellow and magenta cartridges are not empty.
  • Inspect the cartridges for any leaks, cracks, or damage.
  • If available, try replacing them with new HP genuine cartridges.


3. Clean the Laser Scanner and Vents

Dust or humidity can affect color output:

  • Ensure the printer is in a well-ventilated, dry area.
  • Remove any obstructions from the top vents.
  • Avoid placing the printer near windows, AC vents, or steam sources.


4. Run a Print Quality Diagnostic Page

This helps identify which colors are failing:

  • On the printer control panel, go to Setup > Reports > Print Quality Page
  • Review the printed page to see if yellow and magenta are missing or faint


5. Update Firmware and Drivers

Outdated firmware can cause print quality issues:
