Each time I print from my iMac, I get multiple copies of the same document. I realized 'collated' was checked off in the printer box, and if I uncheck it, only one item is printed as required. However, that seems to be the default setting, and I must remember to uncheck it every time. I've also tried to change the Present to 'Last Used Settings' and have even saved a custom setting, but each time it reverts back to 'Default Settings' where collated is checked off.
How do I change this so that the default is to print only one page each time?
There is no issue with printing from my Macbook, phone or any other device. It just seems to be an issue between my iMac and this printer. This is a new (used but new to me) printer.
Thanks!
P.S. I'm on MacOS Ventura, but that wasn't a choice in the drop-down box.

Hi @Kpet,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M182nw used on your Mac PC. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
To assist better:
- Were there any updates done on the PC?
- Have you tried performing any troubleshooting for this issue on your own?
While you respond to that, please go ahead and uninstall the HP Smart app from your MAC PC.
Steps to uninstall HP Smart and reinstall: ( This will reset the printer settings)
- Click Finder
, and then click Applications. In the list of apps, click and drag the HP Smart app to the Trash at the end of the dock.
- Go ahead and Update the software on Mac
- Restart PC
- Once the PC is turned back and idle, download HP Smart
- Once installed, check if you are able to access the app.
Update the printer firmware
- Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
- Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
