@SherT, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Uneven printing issues, where content is cut off at the top or bottom of the page, can typically be resolved through a series of troubleshooting steps. Here's what you can do:
1. Ensure Proper Paper Loading
Make sure the paper is loaded correctly in the input tray:
- Align the edges of the paper stack to ensure they're straight.
- Adjust the paper width guides so they're snug against the edges of the stack but not too tight.
2. Verify Print Settings
Check the print settings on your computer:
- Open the document you want to print.
- Click on File, then Print.
- Ensure that the paper size selected matches the size of the paper in the printer.
- Check the layout and margins settings to ensure they're correctly configured.
3. Clean the Printhead
Sometimes, cleaning the printhead can resolve print quality issues:
- On the printer control panel, swipe left on the display and touch Setup.
- Touch Tools.
- Touch Clean Printhead and follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Print an Alignment Page
Verify the alignment:
- Swipe left on the printer display.
- Touch Setup.
- Touch Tools.
- Touch the Align Printer and follow the instructions.
5. Check for Software Updates (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)
Ensure your printer firmware and drivers are up to date. Download the latest updates from the HP Support website.
Following these steps should help resolve the uneven printing issue on your HP Envy 4513 printer.
