I would like to print on cardstock on my HP Officejet 5258 Printer. The paper size is 6 1/2 wide by 10 inches wide. It is blank greetings cards I purchased from a craft store. The paper jams in the printer. I do not know what type printer settings I should use. The type settings given are: Plain Paper; HP Photo Papers; HP Matte Brochure or Professional Paper; HP Matte Presentation Paper; HP Glossy Brochure or Professional Paper; Other Photo Inkjet Papers; Other Matte Inkjet Papers; Other Glossy Inkjet Papers; Plain Paper, Light/Recycled. I was told that the printer could not accept the paper size. There are larger sizes and smaller sizes, so that doesn't make sense to me. Can someone help me, please?

Hi,
There are many different cardstock weights which indicate its thickness, there are 200gsm and 300gsm cardstocks which make much difference.
Your printer supports 163 to 200 gsm cardstock.
your printer supports custom size paper at the range of 3 to 8.5 inches wide and 5 to 23.38 in long, meaning from the size matter the card is supported, but you must use a supported media weight, and it must be compatible with Inkjet printers.

You can create that size in the printer's "Printing preferences" > "Paper Quality" > "Custom".
What is the weight of the cardstock? (see paper specs here)
