Hi
I recently bought and installed an HP3830 All in One Printer.
The printer is connected to my router. When printing over Wifi it only prints from my phone but not from my laptop.
I have run the reset programs suggested on this forum (switch off in a certain order). I have also run the online diagnostic (print and scan) and once this is complete, it can print a test page. However it cant print anything else.
The print que is empty and I do not get an error from the application.
I have reinstalled completely.
Please help me before I shoot it.
Thanks

I understand that you are unable to print to your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3830 All-in-One Printer from your laptop.
This issue could occur if the printer is not setup properly on the wireless network.
Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.
And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Wireless Printer Setup

Hi
I can now print from Adobe Acrobat from my machine. However I get an error when printing from excel.
Itt says the file could not be printed because of one or more reasons;
- not enough memory
- loose ccables
- network connection or network cable
What could fix this?
regards,
Kigen

I'm glad you've got it working with the Adobe, To let you know this issue could have been caused by the security settings changed on the user profile.
You may either create a new user, login with the new user profile to install the printer or Turn off the UAC from the control panel and Restart the PC.
Here are the steps to configure UAC settings:
Open User Account Control Settings by clicking the Start button and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type uac, and then click Change User Account Control settings.
-
To turn off UAC, move the slider to the Never notify position, and then click OK.
if you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. You will need to restart your computer for UAC to be turned off.
If you have been using the MacOS: simply delete the drivers and reinstall them using the details mentioned on this link: Click here
