Assuming the Printer Software has been installed and is working as expected (for other jobs), the source of the issue might be within structure of the Word document.

Try / Consider

Reference:  Verify / Adjust the method used to add the image to the Word Document

Choosing an Insert Method for Pictures

Partial Excerpt:

When inserting JPG images into Word documents, you should strongly consider using the Picture option from the Insert tab of the ribbon, rather than doing a simple copy and paste. The reason for this is that Word handles pictures differently when they are cut and pasted compared with when they are inserted. When they are cut and pasted they are treated as TIFF files, which are typically much larger than JPG files, even if the original photos were JPGs.

Save, Edit, and Replace the image in the Word document

If you do not already have a file copy of the screenshot / image:

Open Word document > Right-Click on the image in the Word file > Save as Picture>

Save the image to your computer as some "filename" and filetype (extension) .jpg

Example - save file / picture as Screenshot.jpg or Image1.jpg

If you wish to edit the image, do so in an appropriate software for image / photo editing

After the file is saved to your computer, Open the image file in a photo / image software appropriate for the filetype.

For example, open file in

or

  1. Edit Crop the image content as needed, that is, remove unwanted parts of the viewed image, add text..
  2. Save the file (under a new name if you want to preserve the original file)

Insert the image (back) into the Word document

Open your Word document

Find the (original) embedded image

Right-Click on the image > Select to delete / cut the image out of the document

Click Insert > Pictures > Navigate to the folder in which you saved the edited file >

Add / Insert the image file into Word

Right-Click on the inserted image >

Select and edit Size and Position to fit the image into the space / within the margins

Save the Word document

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Check / Verfiy the Printing options in Word

Word File Options > Display >

Under Printing options

CHECK Print drawings created in Word

CHECK Update fields before printing

CHECK Update linked data before printing

OK (to save changed and exit the options menu)

Print the document

Too much trouble?

Save the Word document as a PDF file, print that file as an Image

Open the offending PDF file in Adobe Reader DC > File > Print > Advanced >>

  1. Set the printer select the colors (Optional)
  2. Print the PDF file as an image
