Hello! Out of nowhere the other day my printer started printing the flyers I had made on canva with random squares or rectangles of white. Some are bigger, some are smaller, and they print in the same spots when I reprint the pages. The printPDF downloaded correctly, but when printed the boxes always appear. This doesn't happen with everything I print, but it happened again with a different PDF I downloaded from canva. I'm trying to figure out if this is an issue that occurred during download (although the pdf truly looks normal) or if it's a mechanical issue with the printer. The blank boxes are in different spots on different flyers, but are the same if I print the same flyer again. I'm not sure what's going on. Help! Thanks in advance 🙂

@PrinterTroubl11, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Hey! It sounds like your printer is having trouble with how it’s reading certain PDFs, especially from Canva.
Here’s what to try:
Use Adobe Acrobat to Print
Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Go to File > Print > Advanced, and check "Print as Image".
Then print—this often fixes weird boxes or missing parts.
Re-download from Canva
In Canva, choose PDF Print when downloading.
Uncheck “Crop marks and bleed”.
Try saving it as a PNG or JPG instead and print that.
Update Your Printer
On your printer, go to:
Setup > Printer Maintenance > Update Printer
Or update through the HP Smart app.
Try a Different Viewer
Avoid printing from a browser or Canva directly.
Try another app like HP Smart.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
