Welcome to the HP Forums,
We'll be with you until it's all sorted.
If you haven't cleaned the ink cartridges yet, I recommend you start with that,
Once done try the below steps:
This is how the unit is designed. The all-in-one has a printable region that it can print within. This region is not adjustable for the following reasons:
-
The all-in-one must have enough paper in the rollers to be able to position the paper to receive ink. For this reason, the lower margin is larger than the others.
It prevents ink from accidentally spraying on the paper feed mechanism. If the ink is sprayed onto the rollers, it may be deposited on future copies. It may also cause paper jams or result in hardware failure of the all-in-one.
CAUTION:
Trying to force the all-in-one to print edge-to-edge on the paper or incorrectly loading the four x six-inch, Hagaki, or A6 card paper may result in damage to the all-in-one from ink that gets sprayed into the print mechanism. Read the paper loading information in the Help files for assistance loading paper.

My cartridge is new (both). Your tips did not solve the problem. The printer prints a test page without a shadow (Cancel & Color buttom), everything is fine. Maybe the problem is that there is no driver under Windows 10? The program HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows did not identify the problem with my printer.

I reviewed the post. Thanks for the quick response and it is good to hear from you again. As @Riddle_Decipher is out for the day, I am responding on his behalf. As the test page prints correctly,
Please try these steps:to uninstall the printer drivers completely.
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Remove all instances of the same.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- Restart the PC again.
Then install the Windows Built-in drivers by following instructions from this link: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01796879 There is an associated video on how to do it.
Now check if it gets resolved.
Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead. 🙂

Hello, David, i call to the service center. They tell me find machine with Windows XP install original drivers for psc 1215 and try to print. I install Virtualbox from Oracle on my computer, then Windows XP, then intall drivers for psc 1215. Look i print simple text on XP, then print text on Windows 10. I used my computer with installing Windows XP and Windows 10. Look on XP there is no shadow on text. On windows 10 the shadow on text! Then i try print text on my another pc-machine with Windows 10. Text was with shadow! I think this is problem with driver for Windows 10. Can you say anything?

Thank you for responding,
This is the Riddle_Decipher, again!
I can't view the images, however, the drivers aren't working on windows 10 though we seem to have installed both the latest versions from the HP website and the windows built-in generic driver, hence I recommend you reinstall windows to factory default and then try again.
I hope that answers your query,
