My HP laserjet MFP 227 series keeps on printing unwanted content (POST / ipp/printer/1.1) every time I try to print.

1. Update Printer Drivers

Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed. You can download the latest drivers from the HP support website.

Uninstall Current Drivers:

  • Open the Control Panel.
  • Go to "Programs and Features" and uninstall any HP printer software.
  • Open "Device Manager", expand the "Printers" section, right-click your printer, and select "Uninstall device".

Install Latest Drivers:

  • Download the latest drivers from the HP website.
  • Install the downloaded drivers.

2. Reset Printing System

Resetting the printing system can clear any misconfigurations.

Clear Print Queue:

  • Go to "Settings" > "Devices" > "Printers & scanners".
  • Select your HP printer and click "Open queue".
  • Ensure there are no pending print jobs. If there are, cancel them.

Remove and Re-add Printer:

  • In the same "Printers & scanners" menu, remove your HP printer.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Re-add your HP printer.

3. Check Printer Settings
