I am getting a lot of paper jams, and the printer cannot complete the Align Printer function. Each time I try to  use the align printer function I get a paper jam. I've done a lot of other diagnostic work, and I'm pretty sure that other print quality and function issues I've been having are related to this.

Can I do something to help the printer grab the paper from the tray so paper doesn't jam?

Krazy Toad thank you for the suggestions. I am not able to install new firmware, but I was able to clean all the rollers and was successful at printing. No paper jams, no delay, so I think we are back in business. Thank you!
