Edits - Add PDF print example

The document boundaries might be outside the printable area (margins) supported by the printer.

The only fix here is to move the margins in from the edge of the page, including the Header and Footer portion of the document.

What else?

The results might benefit from having the option set to manage any difference between document page and paper sizes.

Word Document > File > Options > Advanced

Section Print

Check box next to "Scale content for A4 or 8.5 x 11 inch paper sizes"

What else?

Set document margins no smaller than "Narrow".

Most printers tolerate a "narrow" margin (.5 inch).

Manually engage a larger margin on the bottom of the document

File > Print > Page Setup > tab Margins

Click OK to save any changes and leave the Page Setup menu

What else?

PDF file print is easier in one respect - there are several options to fit the content onto the printed paper.

Margins created in the document are transferred to the PDF file during Export to PDF.

PDF printing forces larger margins around the edge.

If the document content at "actual size" (100%) does not fit on the paper,

Set the content to "fit" the paper, (if applicable) "Shrink oversized pages", or print at selected percentage of 100%.
