HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 All-in-One Printer

I was printing and the printer abruptly stopped and said there was a cartridge jam. It instructed me to open the door and that the ink cartridge would move to the center however the ink cartridge is stuck. I’ve tried to shake it loose, to pull it loose, it will not budge at all. I went to YouTube and saw a video on how to fix the problem but it required a special tool. That video that had over 250,000 views, which lets me know that this is a problem with HP printers!  Can someone please help.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing carriage jam issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 All-In-One Printer.

Please follow the steps listed below to reset the printer:
1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.
3. Wait 60 seconds.
4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
NOTE: HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
5. Turn on the printer to complete the reset.

You my also refer to the steps from this document (Click on the word document to open the page).
