Using Windows 10 Pro I set the printer up to print 4x6 Kodak photo paper. When I tell it to print after a period of time it tell no paper in printer tray, After trying a number of times it will finaly find the paper. Does the printer have a problem as it is still under warranty.

The printer may be objecting to the Kodak paper -- or it may be confused if the Media type has been selected for HP Photo paper (and you are not using same).
Assuming you have installed the Full Feature Software for the printer:
You might try selecting the Printing Preferences > Media type as "Other Photo Papers"
Example:
Open the image / photo in Photos
Click Settings "..." > Select Print
Adjust the size of paper and the Media type setting >
Adjust any other settings > Print

The document linked in the Solution for this Thread is relevant.
General Reference:
Change the Media Type (kind of paper).
Depending on the program you are using to submit the print job to the printer, you first use Print Preview; from "Preview" you select "print properties", or perhaps "More settings" (wording varies) to click into Printing Preferences.
Edge Browser:
Open the image / photo in Photos
Click Settings "..." > Select Print
Adjust the Scale and related settings >
Click More Settings > Select the Media type >
Adjust any other settings > Print
Print Preview is available in most browsers, document editors, and PDF viewers.
