@Carl192, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Printer Envy 6455e!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It looks like your HP Envy 6455e printer is experiencing an issue indicated by the blinking pink and blue lights. Here are some possible reasons and troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
Possible Causes:
- Paper Jam or Paper Feed Issue – The printer might have a paper jam or an issue with paper feeding.
- Low or Empty Ink Cartridges – If your ink levels are low, the printer may signal an issue.
- Connection or Communication Problem – The printer might not be properly communicating with your computer.
- Firmware or Driver Issues – Outdated printer drivers or firmware can cause unexpected behavior.
Troubleshooting Steps:
Check for Paper Jams
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the rear and front paper path covers.
- Look for any jammed paper and gently remove it.
- Close all covers, plug the printer back in, and turn it on.
Check the Ink Levels
- On the printer control panel, check for any ink level warnings.
- Open the HP Smart app (if installed) or print a Printer Status Report to check ink levels.
- If ink is low, replace the cartridges and try printing again.
Restart the Printer and Computer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it for about 60 seconds.
- Restart your computer.
- Plug the printer back in, turn it on, and try printing again.
Check Connection
- If using a USB cable, disconnect and reconnect it securely.
- If using Wi-Fi, make sure the printer is connected to the correct network.
- Print a Network Configuration Page to verify connectivity:
- Hold the Wireless and Information buttons on the printer for a few seconds.
If the issue persists after these steps, let me know what error messages (if any) appear, and I can help further! 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
