I recently purchased a new new LaserJet Pro M479fdw from amazon.  I got it all set up fine and have had no issues when using it for the first few weeks.  However when i went to copy a document the other day i noticed that the display on the printer wasn't very clear any more.  it almost looks like half the lines of the display are missing.  They arn't white or black, just the solid colors are stripped now.  Also sometimes you still see a 'ghost' of the previous screen on the display.  I've tried a factory reset and it has the most recent update.  Not sure if this is a software issue that can be fixed or if its a return job?116433002_954753882014562_2388794729351700837_n.jpg

New printer, likely either a lose cable or a damaged cable, either way I would proceed with returning it. It is very unusual to have issues but these are assembled by human hands.
