Printer and scanner suddenly stopped working. No warning. I did a hard reset, ie pulling out the Cyan cartridge, to get the Home page icon on screen, and go through that loop of options, but still have
"Problem with printer or ink system. Turn printer off and on, then contact HP."
After hard reset, I was able to scan a document, but can't print. I've reinstalled Cyan and now notice when doing Start >> HP 8620 >> that Cyan has an X above it, but not completely empty. No warning that it was even running low. Why wouldn't the system let me make prints even if Cyan is slightly low or malfunctioned. Or give me option for just B/W copies. System is just hung. I ordered a Cyan cartridge, but wanted to get ahead of the diagnostics curve should the new cartridge not solve the problem. Thanks for helping.
