I am also having trouble with printing on cardstock with my All in one 4630.
I was able to print previously, then suddenly one day everything printed off alignment.
The cardstock feeds improperly and starts printing with part of the imaging (about 1/4 cut off).
I have cleaned all of the rollers as instructed, which stopped the paper from jamming, but had no effect on the printing itself.
I also tried to adjust the media paper to matte brochure but still misprinted, see photo.
I'm really frustrated because I keep having to waste ink, pages and cardstock to test each solution and none have worked. What could be wrong?
It prints correctly on regular copy paper.
Thank you,
Linda

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums.
Thank you for posting on HP Forums, MKazi is at your service.
I understand that you have an HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer. I read that the printer has issues printing on card stock paper. You've done a remarkable job performing the steps. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.
May I know what operating system you're using?
In case you're using the Windows operating system then you may download and run the firmware update via this link. The printer needs to be restarted after the firmware update is successfully installed.
Secondly, please ensure that you select the correct paper type and paper size from the print settings of the application you're trying to print from.
If the issue still persists then you may uninstall the printer drivers and reinstall them fro this link: www.123.hp.com
Hope this helps. Feel free to let me know how this pans out. Good luck! 🙂

Hello MKazi,
Thank you for your help!
I am using Windows 10. I downloaded the update from the link you sent me and got this screen. It says it's up to date.
I selected a custom paper, shown below, and ONCE it printed correctly, but then subsequent printings did not work and were again off the page.
I'm really puzzled and frustrated. Should I try the next step below? I recently reset my whole computer, so I installed the software at that time. I'm wondering if the paper is just too thick (65lb), though I think it's within the spec for the printer.
If the issue still persists then you may uninstall the printer drivers and reinstall them fro this link: www.123.hp.com
Thanks, Linda

Following are the supported card sizes:
You may uninstall the drivers from the root level as described below:
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.

- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- You may download and install the drivers from this link: www.123.hp.com
I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. Let me know the outcome. Cheers! 🙂
