Hello, can someone help me download an older version of the HP 9020 series multifunctional printer firmware.

 

I have a problem with the cartridges, it tells me that "there is a problem with the supply system, try to replace the affected cartridge with another one. What I noticed is that this happens when the firmware is last updated, I am trying to download it on the official HP site but it doesn't give me the option to download previous versions, I was also investigating and many people have the same problem.

Tengo un problema con los cartuchos, me dice que "hay un problema con el sistema de suministro, intenta reemplazar el cartucho afectado por otro. de lo que me fije es que esto pasa cuando se actualiza por última vez el firmware, estoy tratando de descargarlo en el sitio oficial de hp pero no e da la opción descargar versiones anteriores, también estuve investigando ya muchas personas les pasan lo mismo.

I understand you are getting the "Problem with the Supply System" error on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 All-in-One Printer usually indicates an issue with the ink cartridges or the printer's ability to recognize them. Here are some steps to help resolve the issue:

1. Restart the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

2. Check the Ink Cartridges

  • Remove and Inspect: Open the cartridge access door and remove the cartridges.
    • Look for signs of damage, ink leaks, or dried ink.
    • Ensure the cartridges are genuine HP cartridges.
  • Clean the Contacts:
    • Use a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.
    • Gently clean the copper-colored contacts on the cartridges.
    • Let them dry for a few seconds.

3. Inspect the Printhead

  • With the cartridges removed, check the printhead for clogs or debris.
  • Clean the printhead contacts using the same method as the cartridges.

4. Reinsert Cartridges

  • Reinstall the cartridges firmly into their slots.
  • Ensure they click into place.

5. Perform a Printer Reset

  • While the printer is on, disconnect the power cable.
  • Hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cable and turn the printer on.

6. Update Printer Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Ensure your printer has the latest firmware installed:
    1. Go to HP Support.
    2. Enter your printer model and download the latest firmware.

7. Test with a New Cartridge

  • If the issue persists, try replacing the affected cartridges with new, genuine HP cartridges to rule out cartridge defects.

8. Perform a Hard Reset

  • For a deeper reset:
    • Turn off the printer.
    • Hold the Resume/Cancel button while turning the printer back on.
