I have had continual problems with trying to print photos from the photo tray on the ENVY photo 6220 and 6230 printers. The printers will not pick up the paper from the photo tray. I have followed all the advice regarding cleaning rollers, quantity and quality of paper, but just no success. I have also had the printer replace by HP and the newer printer still has the same problems. I have to print photos by putting photo paper in the main tray, which is a real pain. Can anybody offer a solution?

Which application do you use to print?

Which version of the iOS device are you using?

What is the photo paper type and size being used?

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Refer to this document to know how to load the photo paper and resolve No pick issues. You may also refer to page 15 of the user guide

Also, perform step 1 from this document.

 

Let me know how this goes.
