HP OfficeJet 5258
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Officejet 5258 shows a "?" on the screen on the front panel, can anyone tell me why it is there?  I just changed both ink cartridges.  Prints fine, no other problems

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support community!

The "?" symbol on the printer is used to access various help topics related to the printer.

Tapping the "?" symbol gives you various options like "How to videos", "Product tour", "Printer information" etc.

It has animated videos showing how to use the printer for example loading papers, envelopes, photo papers, product tour etc.

You can also access other details like product number, serial number, sleep mode settings etc. related to the printer.

Let me know if this helps.
