I recently purchased this new printer and minutes ago decided to use the quite mode since its midnight and I had to print something. I found out that the quite mode was not working even though i enabled it. I get a message saying that the quite mode isnt supported. anyone knows why? & how to fix this issue please? thanks have a great weekend !

Hi,

Please reload the paper into the tray and evaluate the shown prompt, ensure the paper type is set as Plain Paper and the correct paper size is selected.

 

Ensure you use Plain Paper, Quiet mode is not supported on any other paper type.

 

Ensure your print quality is set to Normal, Quite Mode is not supported on Draft or Best quality.

 

As a reference see page 12 of its manual, I would assume any of your settings are not supported on Quiet Mode:
