I am having the same issue with an HP OfficeJet Pro 8710.  Whether I try to configure wired or wireless network printing, it says that the "...feature has been disabled. Contact the person who set up the printer."

There is no network setup menu of any kind on the printer screen.

I have reset the printer to factory defaults once.  It did not work - network printing still disabled.  I tried to reset to factory defaults but now I cannot find it.

Please help!

Thanks for your prompt response.

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear.  The printer is not asking for an administrator password.  When I try to connect it to a wireless or wired network, there is an error message saying that the feature has been disabled.

I tried the procedure that you sent, but it did not result in a Support Page showing up so I could not proceed with the rest of the procedure.

I tried do a Network reset and a Factory reset, both of which did nothing to enable networking.

Is there some kind of hardware reset?

Thank you very much!
