I have a 6978 with same issue. I have done everything a dozen times. It’s in some kind of software loop. Is there a reset button to force the driver to reload?

Well, I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue. If the screen is stuck with the error message, there is no other option to reset or force download the drivers.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
